Commissioned by the Schools department of Channel 4 Television in 1994, The Music Show is a ten-part music education series for children between the ages of seven and eleven (Key Stage 2). The Music Show is co-written by Terry Braun and Gabi Braun.

Each programme in the series focusses on a musical element such as rhythm, harmony and melody and each is presented by a practitioner from the world of music. The ten presenters include Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Evelyn Glennie, Jazzie B, Rebecca Meitlis, Shobana Jeyasingh, Django Bates and Sian Edwards.
