Development
Braunarts are using the December period to undertake a period of
development on new collaborative digital arts projects.
NOVEMBER 2004
Random Dance
Random Dance wll be distributing the 3-pack DVD and CD-Rom made by
Braunarts about the Random dance work Alpha.

OCTOBER 2004
Behind the Scenes of The Dark
October 9th 2004, 3.30pm
Thinktank Theatre, Birmingham
Braunarts invite you to attend an afternoon talk about The dark in the Thinktank
Theatre.
Terry and gabi Braun will be joined by writer
Maria Oshodi and composer Rob Godman to answer your questions on The
Dark.
The talk is free of charge but tickets need to be

SEPTEMBER 2004
The Dark
opens in Birmingham
The touring installation of The Dark created by Braunarts opens at
Millennium Point in Birmingham on 1st September.
Schools are encouraged to take advantage of the
educational sessions offered with Artist in Residence Lisa Tremarco
before and after shows of The Dark. Lisa will use a variety of art
forms to draw out some of the aspects of slavery present in The Dark.
Braunarts
has commissioned a poem about The Dark by Birmingham Poet Laureate Roi
Kwabena (2001 - 2002).

AUGUST 2004
Voices & Visions Concert at Beaulieu
August
29th, Beaulieu Abbey, the New Forest.
Voices & Visions is a celebration of the
800th anniversary of the foundation of Beaulieu Abbey. Terry Braun has
been commissioned to create a large scale video evocation of three
centuries of music and monasticism to be projected through the imposing
arches of the former Abbey Chapter House.
JULY 2004
New art for Beaulieu
Braunarts begins work on a special evening of music and video at
Beaulieu.
The evening will feature a new commission from
Gabriel Jackson and a full-scale work of video art by Terry Braun.
JUNE 2004
AtaXia
Braunarts is recording the new dance work AtaXia by
Random Dance Company, which opens at Sadler's
Wells Theatre in London on 3rd, 4th and 5th June 2004.
The AtaXia recording is the fifth project that we
have undertaken for Random and are delighted to be undertaking this new
project.
MAY 2004
Stardust Melodies
Braunarts continues its NESTA
funded project to develop the musicalisation of data from space.
Terry Braun will be speaking about Stardust at the
European
Space Agency's 7th Workshop on Space and the Arts at
Noordwijk in The Netherlands, taking place between 18 - 21 May 2004.
APRIL 2004
Conservation
Awards 2004
Braunarts will again be creating the multimedia for this years national
award ceremony organised by the United Kingdom Institute for
Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
The Conservation Awards celebrate the best
conservation of buildings and cultural objects in the UK.
The award ceremony for the Conservation Awards
2004 will take place in June 2004.
MARCH 2004
The Dark
Braunarts launched The Dark on March 25th 2004 at the Science Museum's
Dana Centre in London and online.
FEBRUARY 2004
The Dark
Braunarts will be finishing the creative content of The Dark and
undertaking final testing of the website and installation prior to
opening to the public on March 25th.
JANUARY 2004
The
Dark
Braunarts will be designing a CD-Rom version of The Dark in January for
distribution over 2004.
